    3d Mark 06 Release...

    Just got an email saying that 3d Mark 06 is released on Wednesday !!! Screenshots look very nice! Features HDR, AI and Physics loads for single and dual cores.

    *groans* and I had only just got to the point I could watch 3dmark05, oh well. Slideshow here I come

    3dmark03 is still one of my favourites though - the sound test was quite useful.

    I actually surpised that the futuremark website has no mention of their product anywhere.

    Gamespot from what I remember requires a third party downlkoad program which I don't really want to install..

    Hope, the free version gets on bittorrent soon....

    Last 2 were about 1/2, but the way technology has progessed in the last year with x1800s and 7800GTX I would say 1or 2GB or even more if High Definition videos were included....

    its going to run crap on my 7800GTX :| ive heard that it even ran slow on an x1900xt. But i suppose thats the whole point. Make it more future proof.

    Looks pretty crap mind. Very Nvidia biased, and the CPU benchies are stupid, completey eliminating the GPU, is dumb.

    Even less like games.
