Hi, I'm currently looking for a new TFT/LCD monitor. My current 17inch Mitsubishi Diamond Pro is on its way out.
Looking at 19-20inch monitors around £200. The choice seems to be between Dell and Samsung in 4:3 but I've seen an Acer 19inch 16:9 screen around the same price. Sorry I don't know all the model numbers.
What opinions do you have on these monitors?
I use the pc mainly for surfing and photshop, with a bit of gaming and movie watching thrown in.

The Current favourite seems to be the Samsung SM-930BF, two of my pals have this display and swear by it. approx £240
Also the Samsung SM-913N approx £195,which is slightly better with films than the above but not so good with games, also it is only analog whereas the 930 has DVI also. If you scour this forum there is a lot of detailed advice on this subject.
Worth noting the DELL Ultrasharp 1905FP is approx £270, and then you are into Viewsonic territory.
I would have to go for the value acer, £185ish for 19" widescreen, if you into photoshop and media get the Acer, ok its not got DVI but thats about it. Friends got one looks v.nice and doesn't have problems when gaming.
