Msi 7300gs
I'm looking at buying a new graphics card and was wondering if the new MSI 7300GS is any good. I've got a Radeon 9250 atm. Would I see a major difference when playing games? Scan have it for £65 which is around my budget.

I see that graphic card is "PCI Express". From what you write I assum you have a AGP slot on the main board. That means that msi graphic card can not work with your main board.
Also are you going to play lots of game on it ? what is your max budget?
If you do have a PCI express main board then can I recommand the Asus PCI-E EN6600GT-TD

It's on scan today only for 76.32. I had just brought one and loved it ( upgrade from a geforce 4 ti4600 ). You'll see a huge improvement over the 7300GS which is a updated 6200 .

I have the Asrock DualSata which has both AGP and PCI-E. The games I'll be playing are Dark Age of Camelot, Guild Wars, Live for Speed, Half Life 2 and Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion when it's released.
My budget is around £60 atm but could be around £130 in a couple of weeks.

TBH, if you can up your budet from £60 to £130 you will see a sizeable improvement in the cards you can choose from, e.g. nVidia 6800GS or ATI X800GTO based cards.

The 7300GS benchmark scores can be found at the following link ;

In all honesty if your looking to spend about 130ish then you can possibly pick up a 6800GS extreme edition which would be a better performer than the 7300 series :)
Hope this helps,

One of the "Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO²" at around 125quid (pretty sure thats what I paid for mine about 5-6 weeks ago) and unlock the pipes (if this is still a guarantee) would be extreme value :)

Non of the cards mentioned will really fly with Oblivion, but it's not been released yet so don't worry about it.
Definately worth waiting a few weaks - you will jump from rock bottom to mainstream and suddenly find that most of todays games play very well on a 130 quid card. You won't find a bigger increase for 70 extra, full stop.
