Dual monitor help

Is there a way that I can have full screen app, such as a game running in one monitor and still mantain full functionality in the screen. I have tried doing this with World of warcraft in the primary monitor and can not get it to work. I am using Hydravision but can see a way to do what I want within its settings. If anyone could tell me how I can do this either with hydravision or another app I would be greatfull.

Most 3D games which could not handle Alt+tab, something caused by windows forcefully took over control and in turn crashed the game.

If you run your game in windows mode then you won't have such problem.

Or else use two computers...

Put WoW into windowed mode and all should be well. :)
