It's going to blow!!! Help replacing the fan on my 9800 XT

Okay, so I decided after my previous post that I can't justify buying a new card until I'm ready to upgrade to a PCI based sys, so here goes trying to fix my death rattle ATI Radeon 9800XT

Looking for any guides, general information, recommended replacement fans - I got a Zalman link from trojan
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=168309
, but really don't know if my GPU has the required 'pushpin' holes around the GPU...is the only way to find out by taking the existing fan off and having a look, or are there other tell tale signs, perhaps on the back of the card?

Any info on removing the fans? I took out the two front (spring mounted?) screws and the rear screw and washer, and the fan didn't want to detach, and I didn't want to force it, so anyone with any hints/expertise in this matter would be great...

If the Zalman says it will work for 9800XTs, then im sure it'll work fine.. I have seen other 9800XTs with VF700s in ebay as well.. and they look fine to me tbh..

Yeah, it's the 'pushpin' reference which threw me, and I don't want to piss around getting the wrong fan when the card is this close to dying, and I'm too busy to loose my primary rig right now....

Do most cards have these 'pushpin' holes around the GPU, and if the only way to find out on mine is to take the fan off, what's the best (safest) way to take it off?

Yay...it worked. Even on 'Normal' (as opposed to 'Silent') it's quieter than the original fan....and it looks great ( even has a blue light on the fan which matches the case lighting ). Very easy to install, and not a single artifact since I did it....Result.
