    Graphics Cards :)

    Looking really for a range of options from circa £50 to circa £80-90. Not for me, but for an uncle who has the following;

    Sempron 2800+
    512mb DDR-400
    (in an ASUS barebone)

    Its got to be AGP, so was thinking possibly 6200-6600, x1300-x1600?

    Cheers

    Dave

    oh and ideally from scan

    Hes been playing stuff like Prince of Persia and IGI2, not the latest games but reasonably demanding, though anything is likely to be a step up from the inbuilt graphics he's using atm

    Might be worthwhile seeing if you can pick up a second hand 6800NU. Failing that, a 6600GT is your best bet.

    Best to go for a 6600GT or see if you can pickup a second hand 6800GT on ebay(probably out of price range though).

    I am more than satisfied with my 6600gt. Overclocked it seems more than up to a bit of punishment from games like fear and so on. Highly recommended for the price, got mine a few months ago for about 110 quid or so, was the gigabyte silentpipe one.
