Jus wondering whats the highest overclock people have had on standard 6800s? I unlocked all the pipes on mine, and its now running 374/821 perfectly stable - though Riva Tuner keeps telling me it failed the internal driver verification?
runs at 40c idle 63 is the highest i've seen it go underload - and thats with the standard cooling, so i should have a lot more headroom no?

not to sure if this is relevent, depends if yours is the nv40 core but my 6800gt runs at 60degrees at 400/1100
My 6800GT with a zalman vf900 is at 435/1130 at 62 at load and 42 at idle.
yeah, but your cards have the gdd3 ram on it, mines only got ddr :(
I've seen 400/900 with Leadtek cards.. shudnt be too hot as those GDDR isnt as steak charring as GDDR3
Hmm can't quite remember what I had on my 6800nu but i think it was around 450 on the core & 900 on the memory. That was overvolted & tec cooled, needless to say it met a speedy demise ;) ......but it was fun
you should be able to get the make off the chips and from that the rated speeds
