Which graphics card would be able to cope with the following.

Ok I'm not a big gamer, I'll be playing CS:S, BF2, UT2007(when it comes out) and I want to play them at 1280 x 1024 at medium settings.

And I'm really confused as to what card I will need, I'm really not bothered about top quality as long as I can play at medium settings above 25fps then I'll be a happy bunny.

    Many thanks

    Ash

EDIT: What about this? http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=378687. I love the idea of passive cooling but would that be able to play what I want it to play?

first 2 yes 3rd one no... i would guess .. its hard because you eally have 3 generations of game in there CS:S which will run fine on most things BF2 which is a "modern" game which would porbably run fine assuming you have a decent amount of ram and UT2007 which isn't even out yet but i suspect would need a better card than that.. wait for some people more in the loop to comment first though
    AMD3000+ ATIX800XL + GBNF44x mobo.. all at stock because they're good enough atm + CA A1 amp-->Mission 73S Loigtech MX1000 + 1GB ram + 1/3 TB HD array
Wintendo XP + Linux (when it works) .. just incase you were wondering

I think your sticking point will be UT2007 with a card like that. Obviously depends on the rest of your system, but you will need a fair bit more graphical grunt to cope with UT2007.

This is all speculation however, as not much is known about how their new engine copes with various hardware. All the screenshots released so far have all the bells & whistles on.

What about getting two in SLi?

I really really like the passive idea.

Or I might get one thats clocked at 1400 which would probably deal with UT2007.

Thanks for the advice so far

    Oh just FTR,

    AMD 64 3700
    1GB Corsair Twin X
    Asus AN8-SLI SE
    580W Hiper Power Modular.

That's the rest of the set up.

7600GT might be better equipped to play future games. No guarantees though.
