Newbie needs help choosing a card for a Dell Dimension 3000

Hi everybody,

I have this Dell Dimension3000 with onboard Graphics (64MB shared) and would like to upgrade to a more capable Video Card for Gaming purposes. Surely do not need nothing over the top (and cannot afford it) but something what allows me to play some Games like Doom 3, Call of Duty 2 or FarCry on a 17 inch Dell LCD Display with medium resolution.

Could somebody please direct me roughly into the right direction which type of Cards I should be looking for.

A bump, or a simple "anyone ?" post would have been enough...

Oh well, if he ever comes back, or for the benefit of anyone else with a dimension 3000: it doesn't have an AGP slot and hence is not upgradable. To be able to play games such as Doom 3 or FarCry, you will basically need a new PC.

and because dell are gay and make all of tere mobos and psus there own you alsmost need a new pc correct i know this as my bro has the same pc, only thing its good for is email tbh lol, oh well it is strange he didnt get a reply tbh, i would of i didnt see the post though
