Broken 6800GS where to get it fixed?

A friend broke a capacitor off his 6800GS, and the card is now dead. Anyone ever got anything like that fixed? Any previous attempts at self repairs on cards usually don't work for me. I assume because of the heat of the soldering iron. I wouldn't try on someone else card anyway. I've tried contacting the manufacturer (Leadtek) but never got a reply. Time to junk the card?

Yes but the pins are a bit too short to solder.
