    512MB Sapphire Radeon X1900 XTX PCI-E

    Im thinking of getting one of these what do you people think?

    Best card you can get now AFAIK.. or unless you feel inclined to shell out an extra £100 for a 7900GTX which is comparable in performance..

    no wait.. actually the XTX is faster..

    Its terrible, my sisters 9200SE can show it a thing or two. Bad choice man, go for the lovely 6200 turbocache it has turbo in the name so its gotta be good!

    Or its the best card on market...... buy if you have silly money etc.

    Great card but has two things against it - noisy when fan at 100% and requires a lot of juice. Apart from this its a great card which will last you for some time.

    I have that very card and its a cracker the cooler is noisey though I have fitted an VF900 to mine

    Might not goto 100% but when fan goes at a higher rpm when card is warmer it does gets loudish.

    Indeed, but then you can et the fan speed yourself, or buy another cooler.

    how about an X1900XT & overclock it to XTX?
    If you go Crossfire later the Master card will downclock an XTX to XT anyway afaik.

    I have the Sapphire x1900XT and it is an excellent card @ stock, but also happily clocks to XT-X speed and comfortably beyond :

    Save the extra pennies is my advice - especially if one day planning Crossfire as you will lose the XT-X default speeds anyway
