    low profile PCI-E?

I'm after a half height PCI-E for an Antec Minuet II but not having a lot of luck.

All I can find is X300 & X600 but was after something alone the lines of a 6600. Anyone know where I could find one?

Its a normal 6600. I don't think you're going to get faster than that for a few reasons:
    1. Power cirutry takes room, faster processor needs more power and thus larger circutry
    2. Wider memory bus needs more traces which need room
    3. Thermal, lots of components placed close together in a tiny case could spell disaster
    4. Demand. Most people who use higher end graphics cards use larger cases to hold all the other assorted odds and ends to make their computer better than everyone elses.

Though an X600 is not that shabby, and I believe is similar to the 6600, but you'd have to look at reviews.

there's a chance that they may include 1 in the box.
If you're in the UK I would ask Kustom if they can supply a half-height bracket (assuming that card doesn't come with 1 ) - it's just a couple of screws to change.

    Would a riser card work?

If not there you could always get handy with a hacksaw

I had a similar problem obtaining a half height PCI-E card with a half height backplane for one of our machines at work.

Thanks for the advise, I have a half height bracket on the way to me now which is going to make it easy to find a card.
