No, first Dell revisions are never good from what I see. Best to wait until Rev 2 comes out

Generally speaking, Dell first revisions tend to exhibit minor teething problems.....eg the 2005FPW backlight issue - still, if the price is right

A lot of the problems with the 2407 have been down to reviews based on far east 1st edition models. There is plenty of information floating about saying these problems will not effect the UK 2407.
