    Packard Bell Widescreen TFT

    Have any of you got one of these Packard Bell Maestro 19" WS TFT's:



    Looks a lot like the Acer!

    Here is some spec:

    Seen this in PC World today for &#163;199. Looks lovely and it has DVI as weel as VGA.

    Meh. I want a 17" model with this resolution; 1440x900 is too low for a 19"er!

    The problem with a 17" widescreen would be that its far too small for anything at the 4:3 acpect ratio.

    Yea, probably right. Been also looking at the Samsung 730bf 17" TFT. Anyone got one?

    Koolpc also saw that and the apple 20inch widescreen in Pcworld too!

    Those Acer Monitors are really nice actually, we've been spec'ing them to our PCs at Work for a while.

    Do you need a superb graphics card to run one ok? Would an X1800XT 256mb card be ok for one of those TFT's?

    yes, my X1800XT 512MB handles 2 easily... no hitch no nothing..
