Quick SLI question!
Just a quick (and im sure basic question) - ive got a 7800gt of which it is a fairly obscure make and looks pretty much like a reference design card - so am i likely to have any issues buying a similarly 'generic' 7800gt to run in sli even if its not the identical manufacturer?

I dont think so - I think newer drivers enable 2 cards of the same type (e.g. 2 7800GT's) to work in SLI regardless of Manufacturer (I think the BIOS version on each card has to be the same aswell though).

yeap any driver since release 80 supports SLI with cards from 2 different manufacturers. As long as they are the same GPU you will be fine.

If there are different clockspeeds, the faster core will downclock to the lower, but other than that, you shouldn't have any problems.
