    My new 7950GX2:)

I manage to get 4 of them and I was told I am the first one to get them in UK

I actually overclock it to 580/1600, nice
I can provide some snapshots of the result but I can't find any web space to put them. The photos I inserted are the ones I put on eBay

The scores are not as good as I expected. It might be my board

    3D mark 03: 32200
    3D Mark 05: 12800
    3D Mark 06: 6450

If anyone want to know more details about them, please email me at hellojerry@hotmail.com

Wow your a lucky guy. Those benchmark results are pretty decent imho. How loud do they run in terms of fan speed? is it bareable or too loud?

It's very quiet surprisingly even when it's full loaded. It's much quieter than a 7900GTX

just wondering, why dont nvidia make the heatsink bigger and attach bigger fan, or maybe two fans since the board is large enough

this way it could clock it faster, and have less noise.

also those clock speeds look like an overclocked 7900gt, rather than a 7900gtx which explains the low score

I do think it's my motherboard's problem. Because the driver page says it is 512mb ram only and PCI-Express 8X. Or Maybe it's the driver's problem.
Because there 2 pieces of 7900 GPU on board with spead at 580/1600, should be at least 50% faster than a 7900GTX. I just can't figure it out
I think I didn't turn on the SLI mode. Do you know how to turn on the SLI mode on a DFI NF4 SLI board, buddy?
    Thanks in advance!

    ye for multi-gpu solutions...but I'd imagine they need a full 16X lane?

According to the default speed, it might be very similar to a 7900GT. But nVidia claim that it's a new core, not GT nor GTX. It's designed especially for Quad SLI setup. Also it's much cooler than a GTX because the cooling system is not good obviously but it can manage core clock at 590MHz and with memory at 1600MHz. Extremely overclockable. I think if the users change the cooler, they might achieve even higher clock, even though it's very very difficult because of the dual deck design of the PCB.

But the driver don't have the SLI menu, it wouldn't let me the change the PCI-Express to 16X. Very strange! Also, I can't find anything to turn on the SLI mode neither in BIOS or jumpers on board. I'm very frustrated now

I am watching this thread, since I am thinking of getting one of those cards later on.

could you benchmark one card and post the result to compare it with two cards of those

    regards

you need to change the jumpers on your motherboard to make the sli work properly, but even then, you will only have two 8x pcie slots, so im not sure how well the cards would work.
