    Gf4 Ti4200s..

How in gods name do you lot get the speeds you do with the Ti4200s ?

I can get 11k TOPS in 3DMark 2001 before I start to see distorted graphics, this is with 1Gb of RAM and a 2200XP, with 43.XX drivers

Come on - whats the big secret ?

all settings set to max performance rather than max detail.

make sure nothing else is running in the background if possible - ie if you have norton antivirus or something disable it while you run the benchmark

I managed to squeeze just over 14000 with my clocked ( 290- 674 ) albatron ti4200 turbo, with a 2500 barton@ 3200. The card Layout and memory on that card was basically a ti4600.

I've got an old one from the start of the year giving 13500 and iirc managed 14000 when pushing at unstable clocks (artifacts etc) and could have probably gotten more with obscure drivers rather than WHQL ones.

However, just looking at a couple of other ones I did, I can see one for the same gfx clock/mem speeds but with a 1.7ghz processor (like yours) on a KT333 board rather than teh 2.1ghz/nforce2 score above.
