How in gods name do you lot get the speeds you do with the Ti4200s ?
I can get 11k TOPS in 3DMark 2001 before I start to see distorted graphics, this is with 1Gb of RAM and a 2200XP, with 43.XX drivers
Come on - whats the big secret ?

44.03 drivers, and good overclocks on the cards and their complete systems rock too
What do people use to benchmark, 3dmark 2003 free version? That's what I have, or should I use something else??
Cheers,
I'm gonna start some clocking tonight, ill let you know results.
13337 or something i got, card was 320core 620ish mem, athlon 1700+ at 200x11.5 (2300mhz), and 512mb of ram...
all settings set to max performance rather than max detail.
make sure nothing else is running in the background if possible - ie if you have norton antivirus or something disable it while you run the benchmark
mark
edit : linkage to my best result here
I managed to squeeze just over 14000 with my clocked ( 290- 674 ) albatron ti4200 turbo, with a 2500 barton@ 3200. The card Layout and memory on that card was basically a ti4600.
Oh yeah I found the best detonator drivers where 4403. Again running nothing in the background.
WHERE CAN U D/L OLDER DET DRIVERS? I HAVE NEWEST ONES..
I've got an old one from the start of the year giving 13500 and iirc managed 14000 when pushing at unstable clocks (artifacts etc) and could have probably gotten more with obscure drivers rather than WHQL ones.
However, just looking at a couple of other ones I did, I can see one for the same gfx clock/mem speeds but with a 1.7ghz processor (like yours) on a KT333 board rather than teh 2.1ghz/nforce2 score above.
You can get old detonators here.

Party Ryan dont u have any older copies of pc gamer or any mags cds, dvds lying about anywhere?
I used to get 15,223 with my ti4600 @ 320/720 with a 3Ghz P4 & IC-7 and not even the best 44.03 drivers. see it here...
