The Dell 2005FPW at least (nor sure about the Viewsonic) does scale rather well, so running in 1280x1024 isn't so bad if need be

I have a VeiwSonic VP2030B and I am very happy with it but it was a lot of dosh - and if yours is brand new and top grade then you will have gotten yourself a very fine monitor at a really great price.

Good luck to you!
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.

Thank you very much!

I thought the price was cheap here! They retail for £180 down in USA :O .

Still, I really hope everything goes fine, lots of problems with this monitor.

Thanks for the replys.

Are widescreens realy that good? don't they cause the screen to be horribly distorted when playing games? exept on the few supported games.

http://www.widescreengamingforum.com...Games_List_-_A

Games that support them, and if they dont, hacks to make them support them.

Widescreen is said to be more natural that normal 4:3. When It arrives then I can give a better reason but until then the reasearch pretty sums up to-

When you go widescreen, you dont go back.

Ill see what happens.

Thanks.
