So whats the best budget 3d card around at the mo? By budget i mean £100 odd. System is a non dual core P4 3.6 hyperthreading if that makes a difference.
Last card i bought was a Radeon 9500 Pro. Thats how out of touch i am :p

AGP I take it? If so X1600 PRO, or 6600 GT if you can find one.
Lo fella. Long time no chat.
PCI-E actually. THe rest of the PC is reasonably smart - been using the on board intel GFX for now, but i've started playing Planetside again after a 2 year break, and it still has monster system requirements. I dont have a monster budget though unfortunatly :)
Cheers

7600gt is a good shout
I'll definately second the 7600GT, good price on that.
You think you're out of touch, last card I bought was a 5900, I must have been out of touch then :(
if they get (7900gt) more of these i would be going here bit more than you wanted to spend but

and only 20quid more than the 7600gt
7600GT for budget card.. Or you could look for cheap prices on higher end models..
Vote for the 7600GT here aswell.
Cheers all. The 7600GT seems to be the recomended choice, here and elsewhere I have asked :)

7900GT's available for a smidge under £140 though...tempted? :)

Otherwise I'm going to go with the crowd and say probs the 7600GT :)
If that price is correct, "it's a deal, it's a steal, it's the sale of the ****in century"; are we sure that's not some sort of pricing error?
oops, misread. Ignore
was price check thread on the 7900gt and sure it was right but they only had 2 in stock @ that time
