does anyone else have inteference patterns when playing their X360 through the VGA? My old monitor never did it and it's really annoying me. Is every monitor liek this or should I RMA it? Cheers.

It's the official X360 cable and it never happened on my old monitor.
Hmmm, I'm hopefully buying the cable today so I can find out for you. Doesn't sound like something that would be acceptable.
I tend to agree with Fatalsaviour, that it sounds like an interference problem. Are you using exactly the same leads as you used on your old monitor ? Are you maybe using a new DVI lead that came with the monitor and it's that one that isn't sufficiently shielded ?
Have you tried it without DVI connected, just the Xbox hooked up ? (Apologies if you've tried all this, not trying to sound patronising, just trying to help )
Hope the monitor is impressing you otherwise !
I haven't tried it without the DVI cable but all other cables are the same. The DVM is slightly distracting when browsing the web but other than that it's fine.
Edit: DVI cable makes no difference. Maybe I'm just being overly fussy.

I have DVM off and all other settings way down from the presets, found it a bit overpowering. But then I hate any noise reduction/picture processing stuff.
Guess I'm fussy too !
I don't think you're being overly fussy if there's interference on screen though. I'm not sure I'll be happy if I get the VGA cable for £20 and I end up with a poor picture.
Hmm... I'm still not sure if it is an issue with this specific monitor or the 20WGX in general.
Would be nice to know if anyone can point out the horizontal bars present on solid blocks with vga.
