Yes, the MS interview I saw stated DX10 would be Vista-only. There's a load of stuff going on behind the scenes which means it would be very hard to shoehorn into XP (and why would MS bother anyway, they have to give people a reason to upgrade to Vista...).Originally Posted by Whiternoise
They based the Aero interface on DX9 because even MS realises that developing the whole UI around a technology that is itself still in development would be a dumb thing to do, heh.
