    HIS IceQ3 X1900XT

I've got the opportunity to buy a shiny new HIS IceQ3 for £240 from here . Are HIS a good brand to be buying from? I've got a few questions about them before I buy.

How good is the cooling on them?
What is the customer service like?
What warrenty do they offer with their products?

If anyone can help me with this, I'd be most grateful. Thanks in advance.

yes, it's a good brand & the HIS IceQ3 has a better cooler than the ATi reference.

Well you're buying from overclockers actually, HIS just put that card together.

How good is the cooling on them?
    Excellent.
What is the customer service like?
Hard to say - for some reason there isn't a hexus.trust entry for that etailer. I've heard stories but I never know how much credance to give them - best go look on their forums for a bit and see what kind of responses they are giving to queries.
What warrenty do they offer with their products?
You have the standard 7 day distance selling regs. In the event that HIS don't provide a warrenty, OCuk provide service and returns for up to one year. I can't see anything about the warrenty on the HIS website, but you'd have to contact them to be sure.

Thanks. I've heard some very good things on their forums and they seem to take a genuine interest in their customers. In the end I plumped for the HIS and ordered it earlier, along with my Thermaltake Armour and 2GB of G. Skill PC6400 RAM (on offer, only £125 rather than £150). It seemed to be my lucky week for offers. I doubt I'll have problems as I won't be overclocking straight away and I'll have a hand building it so I probably won't blow anything up. Thanks for the help.

Probably because anybody posting bad things gets banned.

LOL, that is so true. Say a bad word about them, or mention any competion & your outa there....

Saying that, I have never had any customer care problems with them. They replaced my dead 7900GT with a cheaper X1800XT & refunded me the difference no problem.

Just make sure they actually have your item in stock. If not, thay take your money for a few days then tell you it is out of stock when your expecting delivery! This has happened to me 3 times with them!!

I just call ahead of ordering now to make sure thay have it in stock.

Saying all of that though, unless it is a substantial saving, I would still go with Scan.

Well. I ordered the card, my case and some RAM on the 4th and recieved it earlier today. All came nicely packaged and was completely undamaged. I'm very happy with the service, plus I've now got an awesome graphics card for a bit less.
