Which 17inch + TFT ?

Does any body know a TFT that can display 1024* 768 i.e no smudge text? I am asking for a mate who got a dell 1907 at work but don’t like it (he thinks the text on it are quite small in native resolution). His previous monitor is a dell 19inch (use it at 1024*768).

I have an Xerox XAP 17" TFT and it is superb. Lovely crisp picture, no dead pixels. Very happy with it indeed, and i am very fussy!

Ugh. Setting the display res to other than native on a TFT is UGLY. Use large fonts/icons (remember, you can custom scale the displayed fonts in XP); it'll be bigger and still look sharp.

Yep , he already tried that but some programs we use simply don't support it ( e.g Delphi 6 ).
