    My X800 256MB AGP is dead - what should I buy?

    I'd like an equivalent or better card - cheers!

    umm.. hunt around, I think some still has X850XTs around..

    or else its going to be 6800GS or a 7600GS..

    you could also try Classified, perhaps someones moving to PCI-E.. which leaves u with one they have as surplus..

    Whats the rest of your spec?

    Whas it a vanilla X800 which you had before?

    Its pointless upgrading much above a X800 if something else in your system is letting you down.

    On the other hand if you have a S939 Based PC your going to get better value upgrading the motherboard as well as the GPU due to the current AGP prices and choise.
