Upgrading one of the School Comps, Radeon 7000 64Mb DVI priced exactly the same between Powercolor and Connect3D, which one is the best then? Any useful comments appreciated......
Please don't post carp like "Get a 9800 Pro, they're better" etc :p
/gonna make this a vote one I think!
:) Simple for me, Connect3D by a mile. C3D are well reknowned for being a top notch manu whereas Powercolor have a worldwide reputation for cutting corners and very often perf (like using 64bitDDR instead of 128bitDDR etc). Without a shadow of a doubt I'd get the C3D. If buying in the top end cards (like 9800) I would buy the Powercolor if it was priced lower than other brands but other than that I'd avoid them personally.
I find the Connect3D cards to be alot better built than the powercolour cards
