X1800xt- X1950xtx
My X1800XT is starting to get a little slow, in the games i play at 1600x1200. iam thinking of upgrading it.
With the news that DX10 cards are delayed, i want a new card now. If i do, ill most likely skip the first gen of R600 and get the refresh.
Nvidia cards aren't an option, so it's a X1950XTX or nothing. I don't want the X1900 because of the cooler, and the X1950 seems to have better min framerates. In what ive seen id be getting about 15-20 FPS at 1600x1200 with AA/AF in most games, with even higher min rates.
Just trying to find the cheapest. Ive found a few dodgy looking sites, that have it in stock, one for 274quid, and 1 for 288, but i don't trust them.

The new X1950 cooler is meant to be quite good, a definate improvement on the x18/1900 cooler.
Prices seem to be ~£330, not as high as the x1900xtx when it came out...

Komplett do them for 300, but they have none in stock at the moment. if anyone can find me a decent site, and price, ill probly order one.:)

More expensive than i want, and not in stock. No thanks.
I like scan and all, but people need to wake up and realise there not the be all and end all.:)
