Actually, the 7800GS+ is quite a bit better (note the +).
The fastest is never really worth the money, but it's the premium you pay for getting the best
cool is it worth buy that instead of spending more on a new mobo, cpu, ram??
i wanna do a full upgrade next year when theirs a wide range of dx10 cards

I got the XFX 7800GS from SCAN because I didn't want to upgrade & it definately makes a huge difference to games.
My second system is similar with my 3.2 northwood running @ 3.6ghz 24/7 & i've used the card in it to play FEAR & Call of Duty with all the effects on without noticeable loss of framerate.
Similar to the spec of my last PC - P4 3.4GHz Prescott HT with 2 Gb. I added the gainwared 7800GS+ to it (I upgraded from a standard 7800GS) and what a difference - the card is a real flyer (it is noticeably more capable that the standard 7800GS) and overclocks like mad
hehe cool can it handle oblivion with alls ettings on high?
o cool. i might get the card then seeing as though it can handle most games in full settings. by the way does it require a pci e connector from a psu or does it use the normal 4 pin molex connector? i have a 430w psu but i dont think it has the pci e connector
i realy dont want to buy a new psu just for this card, its not the price of a new psu im aorried about, but my incredible laziness of taking out the old psu and installing the new one
*edited*
my mistake.. it needs a 6 pin PCI-E connector
Me want Ultrabook
can i get a 4pin to 6 pin adaptor?
The converter from 4 pin to 6 pin will come standard with the card..
Me want Ultrabook
