New system - £100 Graphics Card

Hello,

As title really, I am looking to spend about £100 on a graphics card which is going into an AMD64 bit based system. Would I be best of with PCI-E at this price or would a more powerful AGP do me better?

The limit is £100 and I know a lot more about Nvidia based cards than I do Ati, however I am easy as to manufacturer - £100 budget is based on the fact I do play the occasional game so need something, but I do a lot of image editing so it will help here.

what motherboard do you have?

Can't decide if spending more money on a Socket 939 + good processor is worth the hassle as I am not big into games on the PC, or saving the money and going Socket 754 with lower spec processor and using the PC more for the basics...and leave the console for the games :)
