    Question Dell 2007FPW

Well i've been using my 2007FPW for a few hours, its great, however when the screen is black, i can see light patches around the screen...

As far as i can tell, no dead pixels and playing CS Source in widescreen seems a lot better..

Is the problem I have, if you can call it that a replacement option?

    Thanks

    Andy

Telefrag: Are you sure they offer you a 2407 replacement. I would take the offer straight away. I've just ordered a 2007wfp and dell finance department messed my order, they claim that they haven't received my payment but I've paid them. I had to send them my bank statements but its been 2 weeks still no news. How do I lodge a complaint? Sorry for the thread highjack.

so if you suffer backlight bleed they'll send you a new one, becuase I thought i would have to live with it.

I've only had the 2007WFP for about a week anyway so im going to contact them, doubt they'd offer the 2407 though lol

it isn't backlight bleed, it's the IPS effect

google it and there is a video on one of it in action, so it should be fine.

Hell, who cares what they call it - if they offered you a 2407 TAKE IT!

Much much better monitor for a lot of reasons, not that the 2007wfp is bad in itself.
