    I understand your frustrations. I am working with the German office to find out why this has happened. I am sure we can work on getting this resolved asap and I will personally ensure we send you something by way of an apology for the delay in dealing with your RMA. The last thing I want is to leave a Gainward customer unhappy. If you know the other 2 who are having difficulties please refer them to me and i will deal with them.

    i broke a capacitor off my gf2ti, tho instead of RMAing it, i just soldered it back on , much less effort.

    Well if it is inside 3 years, which i suppose a gf2 isnt you could try RMA'ing

    hey, I posted my card special delivery to them on the 1/9/03 thats over 3 months, just emailed them again to find out if they got the card or not! R Mail are on the case, they said I can claim compensation after 3 months!

    You wont get a response from support, e-mail wolfram@gainward.de and explain ur situation. He'll probally make up some crap y ur rma'd card hasn't arrived. Heres the e-mail he sent me earlier.

    Your RMA number was issued twice causing some confusion including the misunderstanding that your board was already returned to you.

    Your board is actually in our warehouse as it was shipped to us without a copy of the purchasing invoice to verify the warranty period.

    We frequently tried to contact you by mail asking for a copy of the original purchasing invoice. Without a copy we can offer to repair at €69.--

    I was told by andy that returning the card with out a reciept wudn't b a problem. Now they want me to pay 69 eurros to get it fixed? Yes gainward i'll pay you money to fix a card your entitled to replace by law, good one. If i hadn't been told that rma'ing without the reciept wudn't of been a problem, i wudn't of bothered, as i dont have the reciept.

    Gainward just suck below rock bottom

    Gainward should be able to tell when the card was made from the serial number. it may be that the card was made out of the (3 year?) warranty period, but sold to you under 3 years ago. they would need some proof of when you bought it as the warranty runs from then. Try asking them to track the manufacturing date from the model/serial number and see if its under the 3 years... also speak with the company you bought it from if they can fax you another copy of the invoice through (they should still have it on record somewhere hopefully)

    Hi guys, all feedback is really appreciated. These ARE fairly isolated issues and I promise you that we are doing everything possible to rectify these issues and streamline our RMA and TECH SUPPORT procedures.
