    Adp Gfx Cards

Which is the fastest AGP Card out there at the moment?

To suit my NF7-S, should take any 8X!

    Cheers,

    Hi

    I use:

    http://www.rojakpot.com/showarticle.aspx?artno=88

For comparing cards. Doesn't state AGP or PCI-E though, just based on the chip type.

    Cheers.

    NF7S v2 FTW

Such a good board, and with an 6800 and a gig & half of ram, keeps most games playable

Yeah, still going stong buddy That was the best recommendation I ever received!

It must be 3 years old now, and still able to play the latest games

I'm still wondering about your advice to start shopping at PCWorld though

The 7800GS was the fastest but was beaten by a 7900GT AGP made in limited quantities by Gainwood which was called the 7800GS+.

The 7600GT AGP is supposed to be as fast as a 7800GS in most games.

However the newly released ATI X1950 PRO AGP may probably be the top dog for AGP as the 7900GT based 7800GS+ may not be available anymore, although I maybe wrong.

7800GS+ 512MB is the fastest agp graphics card you can buy (I have it )

Then probably comes the 7800gs, which is very cut down in comparison, (its about the same as a X850XT), the 7600GT is quite close also.

The X1950pro agp will be faster than the 7800gs etc but no as fast as my card

The 7800GS+ (its really a 7900GT with 512MB ram) is available from scan:
