My CRT seems to be on the way out. It's got a large strange suiggy line down it from top to bottom, and everything seems to be going really fuzzy now, text is really bad. and games.
It must be dying.
Shall i try and get a replacement? Or buy a new one? If so what. Ill want a CRT.
EDIT. Just found the invoice from OCUk, dated Jul 2004, so it's probably out of warrenty.
why would you want a crt out of interset?
the sony triniton are great i use one at work, it can run two pcs
Sounds like it is dying.
All I can think of doing is checking the cables to make sure they're not loose and the monitor is getting enough power.
Why do you want a CRT? I stayed with my old 19inch CRT for ages but since getting a flatscreen I couldn't image going back to CRT.
Please for gods sake, no ****ing questions on why a CRT, there still better than LCD's for gaming.
Ok, it's not dying, lol.
Just took the PC out from under my desk, and now eveything is perfect. it seems my unit isn't deep enough, and over time it has put pressure on the joint of the cable, from the monitor to the video card, that would pobly explain it. Thank god for that.
