22" Viewsonic VX2235wm , Widescreen TFT

22" is the perfect size for a display for me. Better than my current 19" but not so big it wont fit on my table

Has anyone got this or knows anything about the quality/build etc? Seems a good deal at £299incVAT

have a look at the Samsung 225, great screen, around the same price and you wont have to put up with viewsonic's crap service and shoddy products (awaits the flames )

I agree with Clunk. I'd either go for the 20" or 22" Samsung. My 20" SyncMaster 205Bw is faultless and has HDCP too.
My bro has a Viewsonic 19 " 1912 thats good but is smaller and has lower res than mine for the same cost.

I have a ViewSonic VP2030b (1600*1200) and it is wonderful, however it the VP is their "Professional" range, is high quality and a premium price. Different ViewSonic displays have different performance and quality delivery.... and therfore medel each needs to be evaluated on it's own merits. This is true for all manufacturers (there was a time when Sony were gereraly top dog albeit at a premium price... now not so). The ViewSonic VX724 was the best 17" panel ever, full stop!

The VX2235WM is reviewed in the current CustomPC (issue 039) - and I value their reviews, they tell it as it is (but must really naff off the manuafacturers sometimes as they can often be very scathing) - and the VX2235VM does not fare too badly... it depends on what you want it for - if you want the slightly larger image because you strain to see small images and text, then this is a good choice, but if you prefer crisper images of a small screen (at the same resolution), then go checkout the Dell UltraSharp 2007WFP which is a few quid cheaper.
