    Question Dell 2007FP or 2007FPW

I currently have a Dell 2007WFP TFT, but its going back again... (Long story)

Now playing Guildwars, CS:S etc... at 1650x1080 is really good, but is 1600x1200 better?

reason I ask as im at the stage of getting a refund...

But I have the option of having the 2007FP as its the same price as I paid for the 2007WFP

So, which would be better, main use is gaming, surfing...

    Thanks

Widescreen is the bomb, at first you feel strange, but once you get used to it, it's really addictive

I'm not sure if it's just an illusion, but movies and games look more at "home" at wide resolutions (16:9, 16:10), and on 2D/office applications, I feel more workspace.

I have to agree, I have had my 2407 for a good year now and I would never go back to a standard screen. Wide is the future

Playing devil's advocate here, but the thing I find annoying about WS displays is the lack of "height". I couldn't go for less than a 24" atm, as anything smaller would mean I lose height compared to my current display.

That being said, the 2007FPW is probably the more future proof choice

More and more are supporting it

i'm actually surprised now if i find a game that *doesn't* support, instead of a year or two ago when i was surprised to find a game that *did*.

Widescreen gaming is awesome - once you've tried it you wont go back to 4:3!
