Bottleneck?

Would a PCI-E X850XTPE bottleneck in a S754 Sempron @ 2.2GHz?

Meh perhaps. Semprons arent great..

It will reduce performance, but i would think it would be still playable. I ran an x1900xt in a celeron d326 system for a week or so and it worked a treat.

Hmm, trying to work out an upgrade path for my 'stuck on S754' friend, he wants to turn up the eye candy on games...

What kinda reduction are we talking about here?
