Hi all, i've just got a 128mb pci-e 6600gt gfx card, installed it fine but when i start my pc, the whole screen is red, the startup display has red writing and when it boots to vista, the whole screen is just shades of red?
Is the card a dud or am i missing some settings somewhere?

have you tryed re-seating? the connection from the car to you moniter?
Check your DVI cable. My broken DVI cable gave similar problem.

Tried re-seating it in the same, and a dfferent pci-e slot but same problem. I have a vga connection rather than dvi, but i have made sure that the cable is secure, the only thing i havent tried is connecting it up directly (I have a kvm switch) but i doubt thats the problem as it was working fine on my previous setup this morning.
I'll try that when i get home. Until then any other suggestions? Its a DFI Lan Party NF4 Ultra-D mobo btw.
Update: Have taken it back and got a different card now which works great. Must've been faulty.
