Which of these will be better for Media Center 2005 duties (No gaming) just videos, HDTV playback (in the near future) etc?
am I right in recalling that the Radeons have better image quality? But the 92xx don't properly support DX9, WMV HD, WMV 9 etc?

I'd go for the 6200, bit newer and better support for newer techs like you mentioned.
Might be worth considering 7300's too, only a couple more quid.

Agreed with the 6200. The 9250 is basically a repackaged 8500 (read old technology) with altered clock speeds.
