Please can some body confirm these valus. :-)

    Hello guys.

    My system specs :

    Intel Pentium 4 - 3.00GHz - 2MB Cache
    1GB Ram
    Leadtek 7600GT.

I'm just feeling a bit paranoid and I'd like some confirmation on these value please if possible.
I ran 3dmark03 and my score came back - 11600.

In Counter Strike : Source - All high settings, 1280 x 1024 resolution, no AA or AF. I get anything from 20 - 80 FPS with an average of about 40FPS - (Would you say this is correct?)

In Track Mania nations with everything set a medium, 2X max filtering I get around 40 - 60FPS. In the bench test I get around 130FPS.

On World Of Warcraft, I can max out all settings except draw distance, that's set at halfway. I get about 40 - 70 FPS. I've goty to try this game in busy areas, as this is where it's usually the lowest FPS.

Please can any one confirm that these values sound correct?

The 3dmark03 and the CSS I'm a little worred about, it would put my mind at rest if some one could tell me if they sound about right or not.

    Thanks guys!!!

Also, can some one please tell me why when I play games and adjust the graphical level to lower... The FPS doesn't go higher?!?!

    WTF!

I've just had CSS with max AA and AF and still the same FPS! Can some one please tell me why highering/lowering my graphics settings doesn't effect fps?

I want to put it onto lower settings to get better fps!

check in the gfx driver settings that you haven't got VSync enabled, it could be that option that is capping the frame rates.

I think the score is just about right for 7600GT AGP/P4 setup. Your cpu is probably bottlenecking your card. That's why you get samish performance even when you turn down in-game setting, it's your cpu that's on a limit but not gpu. I don't know how much performance difference there is between agp and pci-e version of 7600GT, but I believe pci-e one should score around 14000-15000 in 3dmark03.

EDIT:My appology maybe 12000-13000 is more realistic value for 7600GT PCI-E 03 score, My 6600GT in SLI used to score over 14500 and I always thought single 7600GT is better, but maybe I was wrong...?
