    using tv out with the radoen 9700

    dunno how to get the tv out feature working on this card its all plugged in to the tv dunno how to get the software to work

    Dno about specifics with the radeon, but with my ti4800 you need to goto advanced properties and setup the 2nd monitor from there

    yeah its pretty much the same thing....
    you set it up from the advanced properties of advanced from display

    there is a power button type icon to click to turn the TV out bit on

    I would go into specifics but im not at my home rig :/

    One thing you might want to check is whether your card is in NTSC of PAL, some TV's are picky... (on the 9800pro there are jumpers on the gfx card)

    Just a note, i don't know if you get a s-video cable supplied with the card, like i did with my 8500. But my tv didn't like the cable whatever i did it never accepted the card, that is until i found out there is two types of s-video cable, eventually found one in maplins that made it work with my tv.

    Dunno if you suffer this problem, but bear it in mind just incase whatever you play about with on the software isn't actually the issue.

    Hope this might save you some hassle, had i known this i'd have saved myself a fair few hours grief.
