Will I have to get a new HDCP monitor?

    HI All,

At the moment I have a Viewsonic VP730 monitor that uses a DVI connection to my X800 PRO.

I have heard that HDCP will be implemented into DVI, but am not sure wether that means replacing my monitor as well as getting an HDCP enabled graphics card as well. Any help/advice appreciated.

if you want to view HD video which has the Image Constraint Token enabled, then yes - you'd need a new HDCP monitor and HDCP graphics card

ICT is unlikely to see any use for a few years though
