I'm wondering if anyone owning the following or similar parts could tell me from their experience which ATI drivers have been the best in terms of performance and stability.
256mb X800gto (Connect3D)
Asrock 939Dualsata2
Win XP64
I've stopped updating my drivers last year as it's the hassle of uninstalling and then reinstalling.

you could try the omega drivers from www.omegadrivers.net
they usually work quite well:)
Thanks Steve B. I've rea about the Omega drivers although not tried them.
I was thinking more on the lines of offical ATi drivers.
Good idea to not keep updating drivers all the time. Really NOT a good idea, to live life on the beta edge (unless you like some perverse pleasure of random reboots and lock-ups).
That said, i'd upgrade to whatever the latest full, tested release is on ATi's website.
Try here and get "Catalyst software suite" (version 7.1).
This all said, i have no personal experience (since i have neither 64bit XP nor ATi card) if that was what you wanted.
