x1950pro HELP!
Ok in Counter Strike Source the brightness is really low, so the game is dark and unable to see in tunnels.
Ive set brightness and gamma ect to full in CSS's options but this doesnt have the effect needed. ( I cant see the text in the brightness part, like you are supposed to)
So im wondering what drivers you are using for the game and what settings you have in them, any help will be appreciated.
I tried the drivers that came on the x1950pro disc (6.12 i think) but it was the same.. Ive also tried NGO ATI Optimized Driver v1.6.12 but the same problems are here.
Any help would be ace!!

Nothing no one?
I was thinking of trying the WarCat's drivers.
-
All i can sugest is remove all the drivers and clean them out and then put them back on.
-
I've used 6.11 and 7.1 with no problems in CSS.
-
Why not set everything back to how it was and if you plan on going into a tunnel buy NV goggles like the rest of us.
-
Ill clean them out and try again.
Spitfire i dont think you get what i am going on about. The tunnels are extremely dark and they arent supposed to be, NV goggles hardly makes a difference.
You are supposed to be able to see the text in the brightness box, i cant.
-
Update- Tried different drivers, but still have the problem.
I think its because the drivers or something doesnt detect CSS as a Full Screen 3D APP. If i run CSS in a window the brightness issues are fine.

You're not overclocking or anything are you? You could try reducing the clocks, or perhaps unticking the detect 3d app options/remove the atipoller.

Ive tried lowering clocks.. No change? How do i get to ATIPOLLER?
