    Smile My Dual Monitor Setup

    Hi Guys,

    Finally got round to setting this up
    Just thought id post my pics to keep you lot entertained

    The monitor on the left is the 22" Asus MW221U id highly recomend it to any one looking for a 22" widescreen

    ill try and take some pictures with my digital camera later these were just taken on my fone

    It's a bit messy Personally I don't see the advantage of a dual screen setup unless you have them horizontally aligned.

    Yeah, I had 2 17" tfts side-by-side and they were great for coding. Ok for games as long as it wasn't a shooter due to the gap in the middle.

    I got 2 'identical' displays a year apart and they were out by a couple of mil on height...

    Had to give 1 to my mum after my parents split up which was a bummer.

    Where I work, people have two 19" tft monitors as standard. Very helpful for coding & stuff, although I do often wish for a third (how I used to have my monitors at home 2*17", 1 * 19" until one of the 17"ers let the magic smoke out).
    What's surprising is how many non computer people are dubious about how valuable a second monitor is, they don't seem to understand the issues with context switching & minimizing between two or more different windows?
