    Red face 8800gtx Display problems

OK folks, My display is a 19" xerox flat screen (8ms) being used in conjunction with my 8800gtx - after recently installing my beloved PES6, I've noticed im getting severe 'screen tearing' - V-sync is on etc but this barely makes a difference, any ideas people???

Well I guess its a mystery - my only thought was that my card was too fast for the monitor, playing games above 60hz has always been a problem on this fella (choppy gfx) and at that refresh rate i am locked at 60fps with all settings maxed!!

So with all this in mind I have ordered this baby....

faster response time, higher res etc, etc, and should be way more suited to my gfx card - roll on saturday!

If by 'screen-tearing' you mean the strange horizontal line that some get across the middle of the screen, then I got that with PES5 on an X1900XT, and it's a common issue. I believe running it in a window fixed it, but that's hardly ideal for all.
