I've just put on a 128bit WEP which I have working and can connect to. Problems occur when I try to get WPA running.. If I set my routers WPA to say "DONTHAXME" and then try to enter it in the laptop when connecting I get ..

The network password needs to be 40bits or 10bits depending on your network coniguration.
This can be entered as 5 or 13 ascii characters or 10 or 26 hexadecimal characters.

Ah, thats because the software is still thinking you are trying to enter a WEP key - a restart should cure that

(Damn, Moby beat me to it )

I've searched for the latest drivers but had no luck..
the card I bought was oem with no box.. it's an Orinoco gold with PC24E-H-FC on it and I'm running Windows XP.

Tried rebooting also, comes up with the same message.
It's not too much to worry about, atleast I can connect to my secodnary network now and I have some slight proection with 128bit WEP and mac address filtering.

PCMIA, not found the firmware either.
I can connect networks fine, it's just when I use WPA it doesn't let me connect.

the sky router is slightly annoying as it is a rebadged netgear with a modified firmware, u have no adsl username/password as such, the router autocreates one although this can be obtained several ways. To be honest fella the issue really sounds like ur card cannot handle WPA at present, I will have a dig around for a driver update. To change any of the wireless settings just use the wizard which is the top left link on the cp. I wouldnt change any of the other settings unless u know what you are doing and really feel the need to change, if u call sky they will simply reset the box to default and all ur config will be lost
