    ATI on an Nvidia platform

I have been having problems with my graphics card, that resulted in me having to RMA it. My mate has lent me his ATI Radeon 7000 graphics card to allow me to keep my PC working while i wait for EVGA to send me a new card....

I forgot to uninstall the 8800 drivers before i shipped off my card, and am currently downloading the ATI Catalyst driver for the new card. Will the fact that i have the 8800 driver installed cause problems? Will the ATI drivers cause problems when my GTX comes back??

    thanks in advance

To be safe use the safe mode, this way it should be a lot smoother removing and installing the drivers hope this helps

Check if there are any entries in the add/remove panel, and go through that first.

Then download driver cleaner pro and use it in safe mode.
