    can't change drive letters

    Hi all
    Did a clean install and ended up with xp on D and main drive on C any way to reassign letters tried admin tools but no avail(btw running raid 0 array if that helps)

    erm, goto control panel, administrative tools, then run computer management, then goto storage section and then click disk management. there you should be able to change them.

    You cant change the drive letter of the boot/system volume

    moogle thats what i meant when i said i tried the admin tools metier9 thanks thats wha i thought oh well will run till new hard drive comes then do another clean install.

    oops, i missed that bit there. you can change the drive name if you want, just not the letter.
