lost the f10 option

i installed vista (made a partition)didnt liked it as much as xp at the moment so uninstalled it but now i cant get restore to the factory settings because the f10 option has gone the recovery stuff is still on the c drive but cant get to it or dont know how to acces it anyone knows how to get the f10 option back

The F10 option is normally a BIOS option not Windows, have you tried pressing F10 just after the POST screen? Can you get into the BIOS at all?

The main recovery files would be stored on a separate partition on the hard drive, so did you inadvertently wipe this partition when you installed Vista?
