    Question Printing in white

OK, seemed such a simple query when I started but now it's gone all out of proportion,

Anyway, I want to know if there is a printer than can print in colours and white (Preferably inkjet/dye sublimination). So far as I can tell they don't exist.

    Can anyone help me?

Kinda, more like I want to print on acryllic (Clear plastic sheet).

Before you ask why not use white plastic, I need the clear as it's in modelling and I don't want the whole thing to be white!

Can't you use a brush and modelling paint or a small spraygun (even in kid's toys now).

It's 200 or so road signs. I could, but I'd be somewhat mad [As if I'm not already] afterwards. Plus they're 1:220 scale and I ain't that handy with a paintbrush.

Also, if I wanted to do any other signs, I could rattle them off quite easily...

When you think about it, it's a lot harder to print/paint white over coloured material, and probably an inject or similar printer would have to print over several times to hide a colour, so it doesn't seem practical for joe public.

So basically there's no printer which does such? I have to admit I find that kinda surprising...

no desktop printer will do it

    investigate silkscreening or flexography
