3DMark06 not showing score (only online option)

I had trouble running 3Dmark06 so I uninstalled and reinstalled it from a DVD from a mag. However, after the run has completed the screen that normally shows a screen does not show the score.
Instead it shows a button to click to link online.
Is this a particular version or has some file been modified to do this?

hmm strange. The version I downloaded from the 3D mark website showed my score after the graphics tests were complete.

You could always just download the correct version again?

I think I'll find another copy.

The one I reinstalled with was from a recent computer mag cover disc. Not sure which one I used before that one as it was okay (showed scores after benchmark) but it stopped loading properly hence I reinstalled.

i downloaded the newest version (with the vista patch or something?) and you have to go online to see your score...

maybe its to clamp down on pirated versions?

You can only view the score online on the new version

It's a new anti-piracy thing. 3Dmark checks your serial when it submits a score. By making the scores only viewable online it makes it much harder to pirate the pro versions.
